Heat pipe principle
The heat absorption and heat release of the object are relative. When there is a temperature difference, the phenomenon that heat is transferred from the high temperature to the low temperature is inevitable. Three ways of transferring heat: radiation, convection, conduction, where heat radiation is the fastest. The heat pipe uses the evaporative cooling to make the temperature difference between the two ends of the heat pipe large, so that the heat is quickly transmitted. Generally, the heat pipe is composed of a pipe shell, a liquid absorbing core and an end cover. The inside of the heat pipe is drawn into a negative pressure state and filled with a suitable liquid which has a low boiling point and is easily volatilized. The tube wall has a wick which is composed of a capillary porous material. One section of the heat pipe is the evaporation end, and the other section is the condensation end. When one end of the heat pipe is heated, the liquid in the capillary tube evaporates rapidly, the vapor flows to the other end under a slight pressure difference, and the heat is released, and the liquid is recondensed into a liquid, and the liquid is further porous. The material flows back to the evaporation section by capillary action, so that the heat is transferred from one end of the heat pipe to the other end. This cycle is fast, and heat can be continuously transmitted. The workflow is as follows:
(1) heat is transferred from the heat source through the heat pipe wall and the wick that is filled with the working liquid to the (liquid-vapor) interface;
(2) the liquid evaporates at the (liquid-vapor) interface in the evaporation section;
(3) steam in the steam chamber flows from the evaporation section to the condensation section;
(4) The steam condenses on the vapor/liquid interface in the condensation section:
(5) Heat is transferred from the (vapor-liquid) interface to the cold source through the wick, liquid and pipe wall:
(6) The condensed working liquid is returned to the evaporation section by capillary action in the wick.
